Local Chartered Surveyors and Estate Agents, Louis Taylor, are using their resources and expertise to sponsor a trio of young graduate students working their way through degree courses at the University of Salford.

Two of the graduate students are studying surveying, while a third, Annie, is undertaking a business studies degree which will also lead to a chartered qualification.

One of the graduates will also be doing his year out with the firm, starting in January 2021.

“The firm has always had a strong belief in sponsoring and supporting rising new talent,” said Graham Hulse, MD at Louis Taylor. “They are the future lifeblood of the industry. I love the enthusiasm and energy they bring to help drive the business forward.”

In fact, the most recent member of the Louis Taylor team, Alex Woolliscroft, was himself fully funded and supported by Louis Taylor.

In March of 2018 Alex joined the firm and began his APC – assessment of professional competence – becoming chartered in November 2020 after just 2 years and 8 months.

Alex took the commercial property pathway and specialised in Valuation, Leasing and Letting, Purchases and Landlord and Tenant. He also undertook Valuation to level 3, which means that he is now a RICS Registered Valuer and can therefore undertake Red Book Valuations.

Alex is a valued member of Louis Taylor’s highly professional team dealing with all types of residential and commercial property throughout the region offering straightforward and sound practical property advice.

Said Alex, “I’m incredibly grateful to Graham and the team at Louis Taylor for all their help and support during my apprenticeship, and for the opportunity to become part of the terrific team at Louis Taylor.

After having recently completed my APC I know first hand much work was involved, and how valuable it was to have the backing of a company like Louis Taylor.”
