Having studied locally at Staffordshire University, Graham became a qualified Chartered Surveyor whilst working at the long established Potteries firm of Charles Butters many years ago.

Charles Butters later merged with John A Bee to become Butters John Bee (BJB).  Graham held the position of Partner prior to moving to join the Louis Taylor team as a Partner in 2007.  Graham eventually took over the firm and became Managing Director in 2019.  Graham has built up an unrivalled reputation in North Staffordshire for his hard working ethos, grit, determination and down to earth practical advice.

Claire joined Louis Taylor in 1997 and 25 years later she is still here  …….. enjoying it!

Having started as a Commercial Property Administrator, Claire continued in this role until 2012 when she joined the Commercial Property Management Team.  Claire has spent many happy years at the original Britannia House, 10 Town Road, Hanley before moving to Festival Park and is now based at the Louis Taylor Head Office, 5 King Street, Newcastle.

Claire is incredibly hard working and was rewarded for her achievements when she became a Director in 2019, much to the delight of all the people who have worked alongside her for many years.

Claire says “When I am not being kept busy with Louis Taylor at the weekend you can find me out for long walks with the dog, pottering in the garden or spending time with my friends and family and of course enjoying the occasional glass of gin & tonic.”

Having over 25 years commercial property experience within the property industry in the North Staffordshire area with Louis Taylor, Claire has been involved in all aspects of commercial agency and property management.  More recently in addition to her day to day work, she has also taken over the general management of the office in her role as Director.

After completing my A-levels in mathematics, physics and biology in the summer of 2019 I’d had more than enough of pure academia and instead was eager to gain some industry experience to further my continuing education. Having been involved in property for the majority of my life I already knew one of my goals was to become a Chartered Surveyor. Subsequently I was delighted to be offered a Chartered Surveyor apprenticeship through Louis Taylor and the University of Salford. The apprenticeship has already allowed me to gain a solid foundation in commercial agency, valuation and commercial management and I’m continually learning.

Outside of work I’m an avid gym goer who isn’t afraid to give something new a go such as my recent boxing career from which I retired undefeated from the Kings Hall with a 1 bout 1 win record.

Born in Newcastle under Lyme and educated at The High School I have lived most of my life
in Staffordshire gaining an extensive knowledge of its history and development. I have also
worked in Birmingham, Lichfield and Crewe.

I joined Louis Taylor in 2001 initially as an Equity Partner and subsequently as a Director
with specific responsibility for Professional Services. I have over thirty years’ experience in
valuing commercial and residential properties for a variety of purposes including loan security, company asset valuation, investment and development.

I am now engaged as a Consultant to the Firm providing valuation advice to a wide range of
clients which include Banks and Pension Funds. I also supply Expert Valuation Reports to
the Courts and in connection with the Arbitration of disputed rent reviews.

Having graduated in 1983 with a qualifying degree to the RICS, I began my career in Staffordshire working with a firm of Agricultural Auctioneers before moving to London where I worked specifically as a Residential Valuation Surveyor within a multi-disciplinary practice.

I joined the Halifax Building Society as a Staff Surveyor within their Asset Management department covering London and the Home Counties. I relocated to the North Midlands with the Halifax as part of a team based in Wolverhampton and Hanley, covering Staffordshire, Shropshire and Cheshire undertaking Mortgage Valuations and Surveys.

I have considerable experience in the local property market and the main issues relating to the housing stock, including more individual high value rural property. I consider myself personable and approachable and always aim to provide the best possible service to clients.

Since starting at Louis Taylor Ltd in September 2019, 4 years later I now hold a first class honours degree in Business Management and the highest accolade for managers and leaders by being awarded a Chartered Manager status with the Chartered Management Institute (CMI). I first joined Louis Taylor back in 2020 on an industry placement while studying at Salford University on the Real Estate Surveying (Asset Management) Accelerated Degree course. This enabled me to obtain broad-ranging experience and expand on key skills relating to commercial and residential valuations, lease renewals, rent reviews and commercial agency.

Having graduated with first class honours I stepped up to Graduate Surveyor in 2022 while also working towards completing the Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) to become a Chartered Surveyor and RICS Registered Valuer.

Having successfully passed the APC and becoming qualified as a Chartered Surveyor and RICS Registered Valuer in October 2024 I am now looking to develop my career within the professional services area of the industry, conducting work within the field of commercial valuation, rent review and lease renewal to build on the experience and skill set which I have already developed while working as part of the Louis Taylor team.

Having recently finished my HND in Business Management I decided it was time to take a full time position at Louis Taylor after completing two weeks work experience in the past. In September 2021, I will be studying Real Estate Surveying at the University of Salford.

With completing my work experience at Louis Taylor I was delighted when they offered me a full time position. From this opportunity I plan to gather a better understanding of the property market with the plan to specialise in commercial real estate and valuation in the lead up to my Assessment of Professional Competence.
